ROCHESTER, Minn. – The Highway 30 detour, west of the Rochester International Airport, was removed and the road is open to traffic following completion of a culvert replacement at Willow Creek, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Crews began the culvert replacement on Sept. 21. This work is part of a resurfacing project that started in August. The resurfacing of Highway 30 from 90th Street SW to Highway 63 was completed in late August, along with some culvert improvements.
With the project finished, people will notice a smoother driving surface and improved drainage. MnDOT thanks the community for their patience and safe driving in the work zone to keep our workers safe.
